Breakfast with Juice
Ok, back in July, we kicked off our Viva Visualization Tour in Atlanta and it was great! Now it’s Boston’s turn to show the folks down south how it’s done.

If you’re in Boston, come meet Juice and learn about communicating better with data.

What you’ll have when you leave:

  • visualization best practices training around information layout and workflow, information visualization, chart selection, and styling
  • networking within the Boston visualization community
  • a full breakfast buffet
  • opportunity to pick the Juice collective for tidbits of vizo-knowledge
  • a few pieces of custom designed Juice schwag

What Juice gets out of this:

  • a much needed visit to one of the country’s greatest cities
  • a chance to meet Boston folks who love making visual sense of data
  • opportunity to talk about the stuff we’re excited about with people who are actually willing to listen (besides our moms)
  • a big ol’ food bill

So, if this sounds like great fun to you (and who wouldn’t think so), register. We don’t get to Boston much, so sign up now! We can’t wait to meet you.

And, for those of you who aren’t in the Boston area, we’re also planning a September meeting in D.C., so keep your eyes open.

Interested, but I’m not sure about handing over digital reproduction rights of my likeness.

It’s a public event, correct? So why do I have to sign over my likeness rights?

And what if my likeness rights are already owned by someone else?

I realize you probably only want the ability to take photos of the event and not have people claim you own them money.

Just got back from the Juice Boston Tea Party. Was worth every minute of driving in the torrential downpour! Great ideas, concrete examples, new resources – I’m a happy camper. And I won a very cool poster in their drawing. And the granola and bacon were good. Thanks for sharing so graciously juice folk.

Susan, Thanks for coming–and to all the others who were able to make it. We really enjoy these opportunities. Next up: Washington DC.

Great event. The presentation was good, and even better was the chance to meet the Juice people and a few of the other data mongers in the Boston area.

I haven’t checked the site in a few months, so I’m bummed I missed out on this. Please let me know if you’ve got another Boston trip planned – I’d love the chance to meet you guys.
