Case Studies
Pascal Metrics
The Challenge:
Pascal Metrics, the leader in healthcare safety culture and clinical risk, asked Juice to help them simplify their dashboard design to make it easier and more likely that their customers would use their portal. Piecemeal data confused users and led to diminished value of Pascal Metrics information and services.
The Work:
Juice placed the identical data streams into a simpler, more cohesive design intentionally created around a variety of users, taking into account each of their specific and natural workflow.
The Results:
Enthusiastically received and embraced by customers and company executives, the custom-crafted Juice interface was successfully implemented and adopted by Pascal Metrics.

Amtrak
The Challenge:
Amtrak approached Juice Analytics to design an interactive Executive Dashboard to deliver a comprehensive picture of operational performance. This dashboard was intended to be the primary vehicle for the Amtrak Board and senior executives to track and understand key metrics.
The Work:
Juice’s design set out to accomplish three things that are critical to the success of a dashboard:
- Snapshot view: Provide an “at a glance” snapshot of how the business is performing and where trouble spots exist.
- Layers of details: Present the information in a a way that is simple enough for a busy executive yet provides enough depth for front-line managers.

The Work:
Utilizing this unique data mining methodology, we were able to uncover new insights about how students use the product. We were able to correlate particular behaviors with retention risk, providing K12 with an early indicator regarding which students required additional attention.
The Result:
As a result, K12 was able to implement early intervention programs that significantly reduced student churn.
